Our standard price plan charges

There are bound to be times when your data allowance doesn't last the whole month. So we think it's a good idea to know beforehand how much you'll have to pay if you want more. The following are our standard charges for using data in the UK or abroad on your Mobile broadband.

Data charges in the UK

To use the internet, you'll need an internet pack. You can buy additional internet packs anytime so when one pack ends the next will start straight away. You can queue up to 5 internet packs at any one time.

£5 - 250MB of UK data up to 30 days
£10 - 1GB of UK data up to 30 days
£20 - 3GB of UK data up to 30 days

Data charges abroad

Your mobile internet SIM card may have an international bar which means it will not work abroad. You'll need to call 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 0333 3048 069 (your standard network charges will apply) to remove this bar.

We've divided the world into two zones which carry different charges. As zones and charges change from time to time, please check Vodafone.co.uk/payginternetabroad before travelling.

Our charges are based on a calendar day and calculated in Greenwich Meantime (GMT). Even when you're abroad, they'll be based on GMT rather than the local time.

Text messaging in the UK and abroad

Outgoing text messages are barred. Where your mobile equipment allows, you can receive text messages at no charge.

Checking your account balance

You can monitor your data usage by clicking on Balance Check within My account on the Vodafone mobile connect dashboard. Or you can register for online access at vodafone.co.uk/myvodafone

Please note, this feature is for guidance only as our billing system may not update instantly.

Content control

If content control prevents you from looking at internet content you'll still be charged for any data used. You can remove content control online via My Vodafone or by calling 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 0333 3048 069 (your standard network charges will apply). Content control will be removed automatically after 48 hours from accessing a restricted site unless you contact us.

General

Top speeds and coverage may vary significantly. For more information about coverage please go to vodafone.co.uk/network. If you do not have a '4G Ready' or '4G' Plan your upload data speed will be limited to 8Mbps and your download data speed will be limited to 10Mbps.

You may only use your mobile internet SIM card in, or connect it to, dongles or mobile equipment authorised for use by us. You may not use your mobile internet SIM card in a phone or in any other mobile equipment which is not set out above. If you do, we’ll ask you to stop and in persistent cases, we will: a) disconnect you; b) restrict your use or speed; c) charge you for unauthorised use.
