Mobile Broadband Pay as you go price plan (from July 2011 to August 2013)

Mobile broadband Pay as you go price plan – from July 2011 to August 2013

Our standard price plan charges

The following are our standard charges for using pay as you go mobile internet in the UK and abroad.

TopUp and UK data charges

Each £5 TopUp gives you 250MB allowance in the UK which will last 30 days from topping up unless you use the data before then. When your data allowance expires, if you have enough credit on your account then an additional 250MB (lasting 30 days) will automatically be activated. If you don’t have enough credit, you’ll be prompted to top up.

Data charges abroad

Your mobile internet SIM card may have an international bar which means it will not work abroad. You’ll need to call 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 03333 048069 (your standard network charges will apply) to remove this bar.

We’ve divided the world into zones which carry different charges. As zones and charges change from time to time, please check vodafone.co.uk/internetabroad before travelling.

Our charges are based on a calendar day and calculated in Greenwich Meantime (GMT). Even when you’re abroad, they’ll be based on GMT rather than the local time.

Text messaging in the UK and abroad

Outgoing text messages are barred. Where your mobile equipment allows, you can receive text messages at no charge.

Checking your account balance

You can monitor your data usage by clicking on Balance Check within My account on the Vodafone mobile connect dashboard. Or you can register at vodafone.co.uk Please note, this feature is for guidance only as our billing system may not update instantly.

General

Prices are correct at time of print and include VAT unless otherwise stated. You can find more information about our data charges at vodafone.co.uk/mobilebroadband .

Reference to the UK excludes the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

All our services which are offered as “unlimited” (or similar) must only be used for your personal and non commercial use.

If you’re on an unrestricted data price plan or unrestricted data bundle, you can use your data allowance for:

a) calls over the internet,
b) legally sharing data files, and
c) giving other people access to your mobile equipment over the internet.

However, if you’re on a restricted price plan we will:

a) block access to these services,
b) restrict performance, or
c) charge you for this use at the rates published at vodafone.co.uk/mobilebroadband. If you want to use mobile equipment as a modem, you’ll need to have a compatible device and be on a price plan that allows this.

Top speeds and coverage may vary significantly. For more information about coverage please go to vodafone.co.uk/network.

If you do not have a '4G Ready' or '4G' Plan your upload data speed will be limited to 8Mbps and your download data speed will be limited to 10Mbps.

If content control prevents you from looking at internet content you’ll still be charged for any data used. You can remove content control by calling 191 from a Vodafone mobile or 03333 048069 (your standard network charges will apply). Content control will be removed automatically after 48hours from accessing a restricted site unless you contact us.

You may only use your mobile internet SIM card in, or connect it to, dongles or mobile equipment authorised for use by us. You may not use your mobile internet SIM card in a phone or in any other mobile equipment which is not set out above. If you do, we’ll ask you to stop and in persistent cases, we will: a) disconnect you; b) restrict your use or speed; c) charge you for unauthorised use.

Use of the mobile internet SIM card is subject to these price plan terms and the pay as you go Airtime conditions.
