Roaming with Pay monthly
If you're on a Pay monthly plan (excluding Vodafone Basics plans) you'll have Vodafone Global Roaming. That means you can take your home plan of data, minutes and texts to 152 destinations worldwide.

Roaming with Pay as you go
Pay as you go customer? Don't think that it means you'll get a raw deal on roaming. You can use your phone like you do at home in any of the 48 destinations in our Pay as you go Europe Zone.

Business customers
If you joined us as a Business customer on a Pay monthly plan before 5 August 2017, you'll be subject to the following roaming rates, unless we've contacted you to state otherwise.

Before you travel and when you arrive

Before you go abroad, and once you arrive, there are some important things you’ll need to know.

Before you leave home, we recommend that you:

  • Check that your phone isn’t barred for use abroad using the My Vodafone app or My Vodafone online
  • Check if you have one of the latest plans with Vodafone Global Roaming
  • Enable data roaming on your phone
  • Set up PINs for your phone and SIM. If they’re stolen, this will restrict access to your device
  • If you want to use voicemail when roaming, you'll need to set up a security PIN before leaving the UK. Otherwise you won't be able to access your voicemail while abroad.
