Spend Manager lets you set limits on calls, texts, data, and other services – helping you stay in control of how much you spend.

Set spend limits on:

  • Access charge for premium rate calls 

  • Out-of-plan charges for data, minutes, and texts 

  • Picture messages 

  • Video calls 

  • EU roaming 

  • Global Roaming  

  • Rest of the World Roaming  

  • One-off premium rate texts 

  • Calls to 'short code' numbers (such as voting on TV shows) 

What's not covered?

Manage your spend limit

You can update your spend limit any time. Changes to your account can take up to 24 hours, but it’s usually much faster. We'll let you know when it’s been updated.

Use the My Vodafone app

If you're on your phone and connected to the internet, the easiest way to update your limit is by logging in to the My Vodafone app.

Call us

You can update your spend limit by calling 41156 free from your Vodafone mobile.

  • Extras, including Roaming Passes – you don’t need to increase your limit to buy an Extra 

  • The service charge for premium rate calls 

  • Home phone and broadband services 

  • Vodafone Insurance 

  • Anything you  Charge to Bill

  • Charity donations (such as JustTextGiving) 

  • Price plan changes based on Retail Price Index

  • Recurring premium text messages 

  • Any fees and account charges (such as paper billing or early termination fee) 

  • Vodafone Smart Tech 

  • If you’re travelling abroad, you can update your spend limit to avoid going over your monthly allowance 

  • When your limit is set to £0, you won’t be able to use your phone in destinations not included in your plan, unless you’ve bought an Extra
