With Vodafone Spend Manager, you can set a limit on how much you can spend on out-of-plan charges each month, helping you to stay in control of unexpected costs.
How it works
Spend Manager puts you in charge of how much you spend on out-of-plan charges on each of your devices. It covers the types of services that aren’t included in your monthly allowances, like picture messages or premium rate calls, protecting you from running up unexpected charges. Regular services like Extras or insurance aren’t covered by Spend Manager and can still be purchased and used as normal.
Spend Manager is only available on plans bought from 1 October 2018. You can set up your spend limit and change it at any time in My Vodafone.
Stay in the know
You’ll get notifications when you’re close to your spend limit, so you can stay in control of how you use your phone.
Spend your way
If you hit your spending limit but need to continue using out-of-plan services, it’s easy to change it or turn it off.
Manage your way
You can manage your spend limit online, in the My Vodafone app, in store or by calling 191 (free from your Vodafone mobile).
Your plan’s safe
We’ll never stop you using your plan’s allowance, Extras or any other regular services, even if you’ve hit your spending limit.

Calls to “short code” numbers (such as voting on TV shows)

Regular entertainment subscriptions through your Vodafone bill
Charge to bill subscriptions and payments (such as Spotify Premium or one-off app purchases)
Charity donations (such as through JustTextGiving)
Any RPI-based price plan increases
Recurring premium text messages
Any fees and account-level charges (such as for paper billing or early termination)
