We guarantee your sync speed because we can control it
Sync is the speed from your exchange to your router. We use this speed as a measurement for our guarantee as it’s in the control of both us and the line provider.
But there are other speeds we can’t control
Throughput is the speed from your router to your devices at home. Throughput is more difficult for your service provider to control due to factors such as location and number of devices, which is why we don’t guarantee it.

Which broadband plan is right for you?
Superfast 1 (35Mbps average speed)
Occasional internet user
If you’re only really using your broadband to browse your favourite websites and send the odd email, you won’t be using much bandwidth and therefore won’t need a particularly fast broadband connection.
Social media obsessive
Those that love nothing more than catching up with friends on Facebook or scrolling through their Instagram feed will want a fairly fast broadband connection – especially if this involves watching lots of videos or uploading photos.
Superfast 2 (63Mbps average speed)
Downloading movies in HD or 4K uses a lot of data and requires a fast broadband connection. Plus, if you’re streaming different movies in different rooms, you’ll need speeds that can keep up.
Playing your favourite games online can be very bandwidth-intensive. That’s why it makes sense to opt for one of the fastest broadband plans we offer.
Vodafone has been awarded the fastest and best value broadband service by Broadband Genie.
