iPhone XS vs Galaxy S7

Which one is best for you?

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 was released two and a half years earlier than iPhone XS – so it has a tough job to match up to the newer model. It does have an OLED screen – but unlike its big brother, the S7 edge, or the later Galaxy models, this doesn’t curve into the edges. Put it side by side with iPhone XS and that’s the first thing you’ll notice – the newer model has a curved display that takes up almost all of the front of the phone.

iPhone XS has a few more advances, too. Its 12-megapixel camera, for one, is capable of 2x optical zoom, and comes with Portrait Mode, so you can up your selfie game with a range of lighting effects. That said, Galaxy S7 is still a quality phone, with a decent 12-megapixel camera. If you’re looking for a smaller phone that does the basics and does them well, it’s a good choice.
