How many channels can I have on a SIP trunk, and can I add or remove channels without penalties?

A SIP trunk can hold between 1 and 2,000 channels. You can add channels to your trunk without penalty.

You can remove up to 15% of your SIP channels without penalty. If you remove more than 15% of your channels, the extra channels you remove will be charged an Early Termination Fee (ETF).

For example, if you have 100 channels and you want to remove 15, you won't be charged. However, if you want to remove 17, you'd be charged an ETF, but only on the 16th and 17th channels.
