How do I activate Android safe mode?
Safe Mode is a software mode that temporarily blocks third-party apps from running. This can be useful if your device is running slower than usual or if you think you have downloaded malware disguised as an app.
Activate Safe Mode on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or later
Press and hold the power button
When your list of options appears, tap and hold Power off
When Reboot to Safe Mode appears, tap it or tap OK
Activate Safe Mode using keys
Press and hold the power button until you see the animated logo appear
Let go when you see Safe Mode at the bottom left corner of the screen
Turn off Safe Mode
Press and hold the power button
Tap Restart
