I want to cancel my device's Vodafone UK Business insurance

There are two ways that you can cancel your device’s insurance.

Phone

You can cancel your insurance by calling our insurance team on 03333 043 346.

They can also offer other insurance options, including changing your level of cover.

You can call:

  • Monday to Friday - 8am to 8pm

  • Weekends and bank holidays - 9am to 6pm

Email

You can also email [email protected].

You’ll need to include on your email:

  • Your full name. This must match the name of the account owner

  • The mobile number linked to the insured device’(if applicable)

  • The mobile device IMEI number. Learn how to get your IMEI number

  • The make and model of the insured device

  • The email address on your Vodafone account. You only need this if it’s different from the email address you contact us with

Our insurance team aim to respond to you within one working day.

If they need more information or they can’t verify your account, they’ll email you. They won’t cancel your insurance until they have all the information they need, and you will continue to be charged.

If you choose to cancel your insurance policy, you’re at risk of being uninsured for potential loss, theft, damage or breakdown of your device, depending on your level of cover.

If your policy includes Rapid Insurance, you will no longer be able to request a replacement device within four hours.

Charges and refunds

As part of our cooling off period, you can cancel without paying extra fees or charges within the first 30 days of your policy starting. We will then refund your first month’s payment.

After the first 30 days, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused period of insurance for the month in which you cancel.

What to do if you can’t pay your bill

Read our support page outlining your options if you or your business are experiencing financial difficulties.

Automatic cancellations

Your insurance policy will be automatically cancelled if you:

  • Make 3 successful claims in a 12-month period

  • Upgrade your device. A replacement policy will be offered subject to eligibility

  • No longer have a Vodafone Airtime Plan and a Vodafone Device Plan associated with your insured device. For the avoidance of doubt, a Vodafone Device Plan is a loan. This applies to Sole Traders only.

  • No longer have a Vodafone Pay Monthly Price Plan associated with your insured device. This applies to businesses with less than 10 employees only but excludes Sole Traders.

  • Upgrade to a Sim only Plan

  • Cancel or disconnect your Vodafone Pay Monthly Plan, Airtime Plan and/or Device Plan (each as applicable) associated with your insured device

  • Arrange a Transfer of Ownership

If you fail to pay your monthly premium on time, your policy may be cancelled. This may also affect your credit rating.
