How can Apple Business Connect support my business?

 

• Keep your business information current & manage opening hours

Business Connect allows you to edit your details easily. You can change the opening hours of your business to provide the most accurate information for customers. Perhaps you have seasonal hours for the holidays or need to shut early one day for an emergency.
 

• Stand out from the crowd with your branding

Branding can be a key differentiator when customers are deciding to engage with a business, so you can update your Place Card with your logo and cover photo to show off your business brand.

By adding photos of your business, you can also promote the products and services you sell or show off your décor.  When you upload 25 or more photos, your business Place Card will automatically create galleries highlighting specific aspects and themes of your location.
 

• Showcase special offers or events to your customers

Adding a Showcase* to your Place Card allows you to highlight timely offers, such as new items or promotions. For example, via a Showcase you can alert customers to in-store events or highlight seasonal offers with a relevant call to action.
 
Showcases are designed to give a seamless experience for customers, making it easy to engage with your business. Using the Showcase feature, customers can take direct action, like making a dinner reservation or securing tickets to a show, directly from the place card.
 

• Get insights into how your business is being viewed in Maps

Use insights to learn how customers find your business and interact with your business Place Card. For example, more customers may find you on Fridays as you stay open later than your competitors, this could help inform staff rotas or give you ideas for promotions.

How to Get Started with Apple Business Connect:

 

1. Go to businessconnect.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID you use for your business. If you don’t have one, create one here. 
2. Register and verify your business on Business Connect. Top tip – you will need proof of address documentation, such as a utility bill, insurance policy, or lease, to be able to verify your business.
3. Add a logo and cover photo to personalise your place card for your business.
4. Add photos of your products and add location details. 
5. Consider creating a Showcase to share limited time offers and announcements. (Where available)
