Vodafone Business recently hosted an exclusive event for the SME business community. Guests were invited to our Oxford Street store for an exclusive panel with Steven Bartlett about how their businesses can adapt, thrive and grow.
Joining Steven Bartlett was Andrew Stevens, Vodafone’s Head of UK Small & Medium Business, Emma Jones CBE, founder of Enterprise Nation, and Kat Pither, founder of Yogi Bear, and part of our Disruptive Minds Taskforce. The event was developed in conjunction with our partners Enterprise Nation, Samsung, Cisco and Microsoft.
As part of the recent launch of Vodafone Pulse Connect, we commissioned a report from the British Chamber of Commerce. This report highlighted that 37% of SME business struggle to find time to manage different ICT providers, and that 25% feel their current digital tools are not resilient enough to help protect their business from emerging challenges. Additionally, more than one in five SMEs (22%) are not confident that their digital tools are secure.
Many would not be surprised by these findings. With the current challenging economic landscape making life even more difficult for SMEs to operate in, we believe even more needs to be done to make life easier for SMEs and give them the flexibility they need.
