Being a farmer isn’t just a job, it’s a way of life twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. When it’s calving season, sometimes sleep isn’t even an option as there’s no telling when a calf is on its way. This is why MooCall was created.

MooCall is a sensor that attaches to a cow’s tail and measures the movement to predict when it’s going to go into calf. But, the team needed robust and reliable connectivity to make sure this critical data could be transferred at the crucial moment.

To solve their need, we’re creating new possibilities for the team at MooCall with our market leading IoT network. When a cow’s contractions reach a certain level of intensity, the sensor sends an alert to the farmer’s phone, via our IoT platform, up to one hour prior to labour. It’s a solution that works seamlessly every time. Now farmers can sleep at night, without the worry of missing a calf’s birth.

And, thanks to our global reach, MooCall have expanded to France, the Netherlands and the US. They’re now working on expanding their product offering into other sectors, knowing we’re supporting them with connectivity they can rely on.
