The Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro both have a 4,700 mAh battery¹ with an impressive 100-hour battery life with Extreme Power Saver². Speaking of batteries, they also have handy features like fast charging³, fast wireless charging⁴, and battery share⁵ - the ability to charge other devices wirelessly. Additionally, the phones share the same processor - the Google Tensor G4 - and both have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating⁶ and fingerprint-resistant coating. Both the 9 and 9 Pro come with Gemini - Google's AI assistant - which comes with exciting features like Add Me, Pixel Studio, and Pixel Screenshots. Importantly, 9 Pro users will get a year's free trial of Gemini Advanced which is more capable when it comes to logical reasoning, analysis, coding, and empowering your creativity.

The biggest difference between the Google Pixel 9 and Google Pixel 9 Pro is the camera quality. For example, the Pixel 9 includes an advanced dual rear camera system, but in contrast, the Pixel 9 Pro features a Pro triple camera system including a 48MP Quad PD telephoto lens. What's more, the Pixel 9 Pro includes additional photo and video features such as 8K video recording at 30 frames per second, Macro Focus Video, Night Sight Video, Pro controls, and Zoom enhance - all of which aren't available on the Pixel 9 model. The Google Pixel 9 Pro also comes with greater storage - 16 GB RAM compared to Pixel 9's 12 GB RAM - and a more advanced screen: although both phones have a display measuring 6.3 inches⁷, the 9 Pro benefits from a Super Actua display, whereas 9 has an Actua display.

All in all, the Google Pixel 9 is an excellent choice for the casual smartphone user because it has a large display, a good battery capacity and RAM capacity, and includes all the latest charging features. However, if you regularly use your smartphone for taking pictures and shooting videos, the Google Pixel 9 Pro is likely to serve your needs better thanks to its amazing camera features.
