The UK’s first carbon-neutral insurer modernised their approach to working when they relocated 1,000 employees.
From providing insurance for luminaries like Charles Darwin in 1844 to becoming the UK’s first carbon-neutral insurer in 2006, RSA Group has a long track record of forward thinking.
In need of a more modern approach to working, RSA Group faced the challenge of relocating 1,000 employees and over 10 kilometres of paperwork from 3 outdated London offices to a single dynamic space.
RSA Group approached our Better Ways of Working team to help increase flexibility in this new space. Open-plan seating, new laptops for each employee and Wi-Fi access throughout the building has increased collaboration, with internal emails reduced by 37% and a significant reduction in the amount of paper in the building.
“You can’t have a flexible workspace if you don’t have people on Wi-Fi and without the Vodafone Connectivity, better ways of working wouldn’t have been possible.” Nicky Fleming, Global Communications, Training and Adoption Manager, RSA Group
