Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations

Vodafone has been supporting the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) in its mission to improve digital inclusion across Scotland.

SCVO has been working in partnership with Vodafone to supply connectivity and Mi-Fi devices to those who need connectivity the most.

• Vodafone supported SCVO with their Connecting Scotland project by providing connectivity to people who are digitally excluded and on low incomes.
• The Scottish National Framework enabled SCVO to access Government negotiated rates which saved them time, money and resource
• Vodafone provided SCVO with mobile connectivity and wi-fi hotspots and data packages

There is a small minority in Scotland that still don’t have the right kit, don’t have the connectivity or the confidence and skills. We are helping SCVO with its mission to help everyone in Scotland to have confidence online, having access to the kit that’s right for them and an internet connection in the home to enable them to do everything they can do for learning, life and work.
