How to use your NUC
Most of our devices follow a standard unlocking procedure:
Turn off your phone
Insert a non-Vodafone SIM
Turn on your phone. Enter NUC/ NCK will be displayed
Enter your NUC
Press Validate or OK
Some devices use a different unlocking procedure. Please check the following list. If your device is listed, use the process matching your device to unlock. If your device isn't listed, use the previously mentioned unlocking procedure.
Apple
All Apple devices are now unlocked as standard. Simply insert a non-Vodafone SIM to use on another network.
If your Apple device is locked and you have an NUC:
You will receive an email to confirm the handset has been unlocked
Insert a non-Vodafone SIM
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up iCloud and iMessage/FaceTime
Samsung
G920/ G900/ S6/ G850/ Alpha/ G600/ SGH-G600
Remove SIM card from the handset and turn phone back on
Then enter the following: #7465625*638*NUC#
The handset should now be unlocked
When entering a non-Vodafone SIM, if the handset displays a message asking for a password enter the NUC
Galaxy A5/ A3
Remove your SIM card from the handset and turn the phone on
Key in #7465625*2877#
Turn the phone off and then on again with no SIM in the handset and then enter the following: #7465625*638*your unlocking code#
The handset should now be unlocked
Please note: When entering a non-Vodafone SIM, if the handset displays a message asking for a password enter the Unlocking Code
LG
Leon & Neon
Insert Vodafone UK SIM card
Press 2945#*400#
Security menu will be displayed
Select ‘Unlock USIM’
Select ‘Network Lock’
Enter 16 digit NUC then press ‘OK’
‘Network Unlock Success’ pop up is displayed
The phone will now reboot

Insert Vodafone SIM card
Turn on handset
Enter the following sequence: 2945#*801#
Input the unlock code.
The phone should now be unlocked
G2
Insert Vodafone SIM card
Turn on handset
Enter the following sequence: 2945#*802#
Input the unlock code
The phone should now be unlocked
G3
Insert Vodafone SIM card
Turn on handset
Enter the following sequence: 2945#*855#
Enter the Unlock Code
The phone should now be unlocked
G5
Insert Vodafone SIM card
Turn on handset
Enter the following sequence: 2945#*850#
Input the Unlock Code
The phone should now be unlocked
K8
Insert Vodafone SIM card
Turn on handset
Enter the following sequence: 2945#*350#
Input the Unlock Code
The phone should now be unlocked
Nokia non-Lumia
Non-windows (older models)
Remove the SIM card
Turn on your phone
Wait for the Unlock Menu prompt
Enter #PW+20digitunlockcode+7# using the dialer
On the dialer, the pw and + symbols can be found by keying the * key twice for the + symbol, three times for 'p' and four times for 'w'
Type in your NUC code using the keypad
Lenovo
Open people App and enter ####1001# in the search edit box, then enter SIMlock operation screen as below
Press LOCK button the Device reboots
The screen will show enter password for Network Personalisation SIMlock (enter the unlock code)
The screen will show unlocking
Blackberry
9320/ 9720/ 9790/ 9900/ Q5/ Z10
Turn off the radio on the device. Failure to do this could result in the handheld becoming unusable
From the home screen, go to Options > Advanced Options > SIM card
Type mepd You should see personalisation options
Type mep then press and hold the ALT key and press 2. You are now prompted for the unlock code
Type in the unlock code and press Return
Restart the Blackberry device by removing and replacing the battery
Rio / Passport
From the home screen, go to Settings
Press Security and Privacy > SIM Card
Under the Phone Network Lock heading, tap any item in the list. This will prompt for the MEP unlock code
Enter the unlocking code
