Pay as you go SIM plans for existing customers

We'll send you a reminder by text a few days before your bundle is due to renew.

If you've got enough credit on your account, you don't need to do anything - your bundle will renew automatically and with Total Rollover, any unused allowances will roll over into the next 30 days.

If you don't have enough credit, you'll have a seven-day grace period to top up so your bundle will renew. You'll pay our standard plan rates during this period.

Once you've decided which one you'd like to switch to, text the code you'll find underneath the bundle details to 49501. You need to send this text from the Vodafone mobile you'd like to add the bundle to.

For example, if you decide to switch to our £15 bundle, just text BVB15 to 49501.

To remove your Pay as you go Bundle (also known as a Big Value Bundle), simply let us know by starting a chat with us, calling 4354 free from your Vodafone mobile, or speaking to an adviser in one of our stores

If you'd like to use your bundle until your current 30-day period is up, you can stop it from auto-renewing using the My Vodafone app. To do this:

1. Open the My Vodafone app and select the Plan button on the home screen

2. Then, choose Change plan

3. You'll be asked to enter and confirm your mobile number - enter this and select Continue

4. Select the Opt out button underneath your bundle details

5. We'll text you a security code - enter the text you receive into the Security code box, then select Continue

6. Select Remove this Big Value Bundle

Once your bundle is removed from your account, you'll lose any remaining data, minutes or texts you had and will start paying our standard Pay as you go rates

There are multiple ways to join Pay as you go 1: 

• Activate a Vodafone Pay as you go 1 SIM 

• Opt in by calling 41146 free from your Vodafone mobile 

• Log into your My Vodafone account and follow the steps 

To use Pay as you go 1, you’ll need to top up at least £5. This is the minimum top-up when you buy a Pay as you go 1 SIM. If you buy it with a handset, the minimum top-up may be higher. 

If you’re a Pay as you go 1 customer, you’ll need to pay extra for these calls, texts and data. Please see our Charges Guide for further information. Excluded calls  

• Video calls,  

• Calls to premium rate non-geographic numbers 

• Non-standard 07 number 

• Directory enquiries 

• Roaming calls 

• International calls  

• Freephone 05 numbers 

 If you make any of these calls in the UK, before you’re connected, you’ll hear an automated message reminding you that you’ll be charged extra. Excluded texts 

• Texts and picture messages (MMS) sent in or to countries outside the UK 

• Texts to premium rate numbers 

 Excluded data 

• Any data usage outside the UK or Zone A

Vodafone Pay as you go 1 is available to Pay as you go customers on a Vodafone Simply price plan. You can’t use Pay as you go 1 together with any Freebies or other plans. You may have a Big Value Bundle alongside Pay as you go 1, but different rates apply for anything outside your bundle, and your usage won’t be capped. You can find these rates in our Pay as you go airtime conditions

If you opt in to Pay as you go 1, you’ll automatically be opted out of your Big Value Bundle.

Just download the app from your chosen app store, sign in and you'll be able to top up whenever you want, directly from your phone.

VeryMe Rewards is available to all Vodafone mobile customers.

To get access, all you need to do is download the My Vodafone app from your chosen app store, sign in, and you'll see VeryMe Rewards on the app home screen.

If you're an existing Pay as you Go customer, you can switch from a physical SIM to an eSIM - all you'll need is a device that's eSIM compatible.

With our Pay as you go Plus plans, you can get an eSIM if you're a new or existing customer.
