How do I set up a WiFi Booster?

To manually set up a WiFi Booster, follow the steps for your router.

If you have 5G Broadband, our WiFi Boosters aren’t compatible, but you can use independently purchased WiFi boosters/extenders.

Power Hub

  1. Make sure your Power Hub is turned on and connected to the internet. The LED on the front should be solid white and the internet LED at the back should be green

  2. Place the Booster within two metres of your Power Hub and turn it on

  3. Wait for the LED on the front of the Booster to start flashing blue and then turn steady purple

  4. Press the WPS button at the back of your Power Hub for three seconds

  5. Press the WPS button at the back of your Booster for three seconds

  6. Wait for the LED on your Booster to turn steady green to indicate pairing is complete, then solid white

  7. Unplug your Booster and move it to a location of your choice. We recommend placing it halfway between your router and where your wireless connection starts to drop out

  8. Once connected successfully, the front LED on both the Booster and Power Hub should be solid white. Check the LED lights are displaying correctly

WiFi Hub

  1. Make sure your WiFi Hub is turned on and connected to the internet. The internet and power lights at the front should be solid white

  2. Place the booster within two metres of your WiFi Hub and turn it on

  3. Wait for the front LED of your Booster to start flashing white

  4. Press the WPS button on your Booster and WiFi Hub

  5. The LED on the front of your Booster and the WiFi LED on the front of your Hub will start to flash

  6. Wait for the LED on your Booster to turn solid white. This means the devices have finished pairing

  7. Unplug your Booster and move it to a location of your choice. We recommend placing it halfway between your router and where your wireless connection starts to drop out

  8. The LED on the front of the Booster should remain solid white. This can take up to a few minutes

  9. If the light isn’t solid white, please move the booster closer to your WiFi Hub

Ultra Hub and Ultra Hub 7

  1. Make sure your Ultra Hub is turned on and connected to the internet. The LED on the front should be solid white and the internet LED at the back should be green

  2. Place the Booster within two metres of your Ultra Hub and turn it on

  3. Wait for the LED on the front of the Booster to start flashing blue and then turn steady purple

  4. Press the WPS button at the back of your Ultra Hub for three seconds

  5. Press the WPS button at the back of your Booster for three seconds

  6. Wait for the LED on your Booster to turn steady green to indicate pairing is complete, then solid white

  7. Unplug your Booster and move it to a location of your choice. We recommend placing it halfway between your router and where your wireless connection starts to drop out

  8. Once connected successfully, the front LED on both the Booster and Ultra Hub should be solid white. Check the LED lights are displaying correctly
