What do the lights mean on my Super WiFi Booster and Back-up dongle?

Find out what the lights mean on the devices that work with your Power Hub, Ultra Hub 6e or Ultra Hub 7: 

Super WiFi Booster  

  • No light – device is turned off, connect to a power supply

  • Flashing blue – power up, booting or factory reset in progress

  • Solid purple – extender isn’t connected to the WiFi network. Press the WPS buttons on your extender

  • Flashing purple – pairing in progress

  • Solid green – pairing successful

  • Solid white – extender is connected to the WiFi network

  • Flashing white – weak connection to the WiFi network. Device needs to be closer to the Ultra Hub

  • Flashing blue and white – firmware updates in progress

  • Solid amber – WiFi turned off. Use the on/off button to connect

  • Flashing red – pairing failed or device error

Back-up dongle 

  • White steady – connected to 4G network  

  • White flashing slow – connected to 3G or 2G network  

  • Red flashing fast – error, no SIM or mobile network  

  • Purple steady – data limit reached  

  • Blue or white flashing – software update in progress  

  • Blue flashing fast – factory reset in progress

Module

  • Red steady – error status  

  • Green steady – registered to 3G or 2G network  

  • Green blinking – connected to 3G or 2G network  

  • Blue steady – registered to 4G network  

  • Blue blinking – connected to 4G network
