How's my early termination fee calculated?

To work out the fee for mobile plans:

1. See how many months you have left before your plan ends

2. Add together all the remaining charges for those months

3. Take off any discounts you have

4. Take off 2%, because you're paying it off early in one go

For example:

Your plan costs £45 a month, and you get a £10 discount, so you pay £35 a month in total. You have 6 months left until your plan ends, and you want to leave.

• To work out your outstanding charges for these remaining 6 months, we multiply what you pay each month (£35) by 6 = £210

• Then we take off 2% of that £210 (£4.20) to get your final fee = £205.80

Your early termination fee is calculated as 80% of the monthly cost of your Home Broadband and Phone Plan, minus any applicable discounts, multiplied by the number of months left on your minimum contract period when you give us notice that you want to terminate your agreement.

To work out the early termination fee for broadband plans:

1. Check how many months you have left remaining on your contract before it ends

2. Check how much your monthly price is including any discounts

3. Complete the following calculation:

Monthly cost x 0.8 x number of months left on your contract

For example:

Your plan costs £30 a month and you have a £5 discount. You have 5 months left before the end of your contract.

Your early termination fee = (£30 – £5) x 80% x 5 months = £100

If you cancel your 5G Broadband plan, you must return your Indoor Hub or Outdoor Hub to us. If you don’t return it, we’ll charge a fee.

How do I return my Indoor Hub/Outdoor Hub?

If you cancel your rolling 1-month plan, you’ll be charged for the month ahead. We’ll refund you on a pro-rata basis for the days you didn’t use.

If you cancel your 24-month plan before the end date, the early termination fee will apply.

Your early termination fee is calculated as 80% of the monthly cost of your 5G Broadband plan, minus any applicable discounts, multiplied by the number of months left on your 24-month contract when you give us notice that you want to terminate your agreement.

To work out the early termination fee:

1. Check how many months you have left remaining on your contract before it ends.

2. Check how much your monthly price is

3. Complete the following calculation:

Monthly cost x 0.8 x number of months left on your contract

For example:
Your plan costs £30 a month and you have 5 months left before the end of your contract.
Your early termination fee = (80% of £30) x 5 months = £120
