How will my bill be calculated when I leave Vodafone?
We always bill you for the month ahead. If you leave us, we’ll send you a final bill which’ll credit you for any days of your plan you’ve already paid for, but didn’t use.
If you don’t have any other services with us, you’ll get your final bill within 30 days of the date you’re disconnected.
Your final bill will include:
Usage in your last month – we’ll work out how many days you were connected
Out-of-plan usage
Roaming charges (if applicable)
Extras – for example a recurring Data Extra
Early termination fee if you cancel before your plan end date
It might include a credit for any days of your plan that you’ve paid for, but didn’t use
You might have to pay us after we’ve disconnected your service. For example, Direct Debit payments are usually taken up to 10 days after your final bill has been created.
Please don’t cancel your Direct Debit with us, as your final bill could have partial charges or a refund.
Pay monthly plans
If you’ve cancelled your Pay monthly plan with us, you’ll be charged up to the date we disconnect your service.
Pay as you go Plus plans
Because Pay as you go Plus charges a registered card at the start of each 30-day period, any final payment will cover the current 30-day plan. You will not be billed for future months once you turn off Auto-Renew in the My Vodafone app.
Part-fibre or full fibre broadband plans
Our broadband plans charge for the month ahead, so your final bill may include the upcoming month. We’ll refund you on a pro-rata basis for the days you didn’t use.
5G Broadband plans
If you cancel your rolling 1-month plan, you’ll be charged for the month ahead. We’ll refund you on a pro-rata basis for the days you didn’t use.
If you cancel your 24-month plan before the end date, your final bill will include an Early termination fee
You must return your 5G Hub or Outdoor Hub equipment if you cancel your plan. If they aren’t returned, a fee will be charged.
