How do I reset the password on my router/Vodafone hub?

A router password is different to your WiFi password. If you’re looking to update it, find out how to change your WiFi password

Power Hub, Ultra Hub, Ultra Hub 7, or WiFi Hub

If you haven't changed the admin password for your router yet:

  1. Type 192.168.1.1 in the browser address bar

  2. When you first log in, it'll ask you to reset or change the password

If you’ve changed the admin password for your router and forgotten what it is, you’ll need to reset your router back to its factory settings

This will reset your router password back to the default password on the bottom of your router. Any changes you’ve made to your router settings will also be reset – including your WiFi username and password.

5G Hub

When you log into your 5G Hub for the first time, you’ll be asked to create a user account. Once created, you can log into your 5G Hub portal with user credentials or with the admin details, which you can find on the base of your 5G Hub.

  1. Type 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar

  2. Log in using the admin details (WebUI name and password on the base of your 5G Hub) or the user account details you created on setup.

  3. Select the ‘Advanced’ tab in the menu banner and select ‘System’ on the menu at the side

  4. The select ‘General

  5. Here you’ll see the ‘Change Password’ section

  6. To change your admin password, select ‘admin’. To change your user account password, select ‘user’.

If you have 5G Broadband with an Outdoor Hub, your router is a Power Hub.
