Get started with Vodafone Mobile Broadband
Here’s everything you need to know about our mobile broadband service.
On Android, iOS, dongle and mobile WiFi
Android –put the SIM in your device and choose Pay as you go from the list when it appears
iOS – Put the SIM in your device, you'll then need to update your settings: Settings > Mobile data > Mobile Data Options > APN settings > Change the APN to wap.vodafone.co.uk for both mobile data and hotspot
Dongle or mobile WiFi – put the SIM in your device and it'll connect to the network automatically
The APN settings for all other devices will be set up automatically:
APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Username:wap
Password: wap
Register your mobile broadband through My Vodafone – you'll need your 11-digit mobile broadband number.
How to find your mobile broadband number:
iPad or tablet
Tap to open your Vodafone Mobile Broadband software
Expand the menu and choose Diagnostics – your mobile broadband number should be displayed
Data dongle and mobile WiFi device
Plug your device into your computer's USB port
Open your Vodafone Mobile Broadband software
Expand the menu and choose Diagnostics – your mobile broadband number should be displayed
Can't find Diagnostics in the menu? Make sure you've got the latest Vodafone Mobile Broadband software installed for Windows or macOS
You'll need your mobile broadband number to add a data pack.
