Introducing Apple Watch Series 5

You’ve never seen a watch like this.

Apple Watch Series 5 (GPS + Cellular) has a display that’s always on, showing the time and important information – no need to raise your wrist.

It helps you navigate with the built-in compass, enables international emergency calling,¹ lets you check your heart rate with the ECG app,² and tracks your workouts and activity.

Better yet, it has cellular connectivity built in, so you can stay connected with just your watch³ once it’s
hooked up to our network using Vodafone OneNumber.

Connect your Apple Watch to your iPhone

Step 1. Check device compatibility

To connect your Apple Watch to your iPhone, you’ll need an Apple Watch Series 3 or newer and iPhone 6s or newer on a Vodafone Pay monthly plan.

Unsure if your iPhone plan can be paired with Apple Watch? Use our Eligibility Checker to find out.

Already have the Apple Watch Series 3 or Series 4?

Step 2. Pair your devices using Bluetooth

Use Bluetooth to pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone, so you can sync and manage apps across both devices when in range.

Need help pairing your devices? See our Set up guide

Step 3. Add cellular connectivity (4G)

Get cellular connectivity on your Apple Watch for just £7 a month, with Vodafone OneNumber. So you can make calls, send texts and stream music – without your phone or WiFi nearby.

To get started, simply go to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, select My Watch tab and then tap Cellular.

More information on Apple Watch

Buying Apple Watch with cellular means you’ll be able to use your Watch to make calls, send and receive messages and use data for browsing your favourite apps – and you won’t need to have your iPhone on you or wait for Wi-Fi.

You’ll need to use the same network provider for your Apple Watch cellular plan and your iPhone plan to send and receive messages, answer calls and use apps on your Apple Watch.

Apple Watch GPS and cellular lets you use your Apple Watch independently – without needing your iPhone or Wi-Fi connectivity. Whereas Apple Watch with only GPS connectivity lets you do all the same things as cellular, but you’ll need your Watch to be connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to do so. It’ll also work as a GPS tracker, and you won’t need your iPhone nearby to do so.
