Play Your Way to Wimbledon, powered by Vodafone

‘Play Your Way to Wimbledon’, powered by Vodafone and its inclusive categories, returns for 2026.

Play Your Way to Wimbledon (PYWTW) is the UK’s largest mass participation tennis competition. The 2023 competition saw the introduction of wheelchair, visually impaired, and learning disability categories. In the future, we could see new categories like para-standing and deaf tennis.

Entries for the 2026 competition closed in February, with thousands of players from clubs, parks, and schools across the UK stepping forward – with rackets in hand – to take part. Powered by Vodafone, the competition helps more people get on court, build confidence, and play their way towards the iconic grass of Wimbledon.

How we helped visually impaired fans at Wimbledon 2023

We used our 5G technology to help visually impaired tennis fans watch the live action on Centre Court and Number 1 Court.

Using live footage from local TV cameras, the 5G-powered headsets developed by GiveVision enhanced the footage to suit the wearer's specific sight profile, which helped them enjoy the championship.
