Changes to roaming with Pay as you go

We’re making an important change on 11 June 2017.

This page explains what the changes are and how they’ll affect you. As they’ll happen automatically, you won’t need to do anything.

Use your UK mobile in our Pay as you go Europe Zone at no extra cost

If you’re on Pay as you go, from 11 June 2017 you’ll be able to use your UK mobile in any of the 50 destinations of our Pay as you go Europe Zone [PDF: 677 KB] at the same cost as you’d pay in the UK.

What does this mean?

When you visit any of the 50 destinations (see list below), you don’t need to worry about extra roaming charges. If you have a Big Value Bundle, Freebie or Extra you can use this in our Europe Zone as you would at home. If you don’t have one of these, you’ll just pay your standard UK rates.

As a result of these changes, if you have Vodafone EuroTraveller we’ll be removing it from your account because you’ll now get the same benefit but without the £3 daily charge. We’ll take care of this so there’s no need for you to do anything.

Destinations included in our Europe Zone:
Albania, Austria, Azores, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark (inc Faroe Islands), Estonia, Finland, France (inc Corsica), French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Iceland, Isle of Man, Italy, Jersey, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madeira, Malta, Martinique, Mayotte, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Reunion, Romania, San Marino, Saint Martin, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Vatican City
