iPhone 8 Plus vs iPhone SE

Which one is best for you?

It’s safe to say that iPhone SE is likely to appeal to a different audience than iPhone 8 Plus. It’s the smallest in the current range and in appearance closer to iPhone 5s than any of the newer models. With much the same specs as iPhone 6s, iPhone SE has a lot going for it if you like a pocket-sized phone. With the A9 processor, it can keep up with most modern apps and games, and a 12-megapixel camera lets you take impressive pictures. You won’t miss out on the convenience of fingerprint recognition – though it doesn’t feature 3D touch, which all the later models have.

iPhone 8 Plus, on the other hand, will suit anyone who likes a large screen and wants the benefits of an improved camera, wireless charging, a better looking True Tone display and exponentially faster chip. In fact, iPhone 8 Plus has not one but two 12 megapixel cameras. These cleverly work together to offer 2X optical zoom, as well as enabling some neat special effects. The new Portrait Lighting mode also lets you edit your images to create stunning selfies.

There’s no question that iPhone 8 Plus can outperform iPhone SE in almost every field – if you’re looking for a large format phone with great features it’s a great choice. iPhone SE still has its place, however, as great little iPhone that sits easily in your pocket.
