Launched in 2015 with a 5.5-inch screen, iPhone 6s Plus was the second iPhone to feature a larger display than the 4.7-inch standard of previous models. Since then, Apple have upgraded and improved their plus-size offering, culminating in iPhone XS Max’s big and beautiful 6.5-inch OLED screen.
Not only has the adoption of OLED technology resulted in a sharper and more realistic display, but the screen now covers the whole face of the phone, cutting down on the overall phone size.
There have been significant advances in camera technology too: the iPhone 6s Plus’s solid camera has been superseded by iPhone XS Max’s superb dual lens snapper with Smart HDR, enabling improved low-light photography and sharper images, with better contrast.
