Compare Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus

Which one is best for you?

Released two years apart, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ and S25+ are both part of the S series range. Despite a two-year age gap, these phones share the same camera system. This includes a 12MP front camera, a rear 12MP Ultra Wide lens, a 50MP Wide lens, and a 10MP Telephoto lens. The only difference is that the S25+ has Optical Quality 2x on its Wide lens, for improved photographs.

The screen size is very similar, with the S25+'s being slightly bigger at 6.7-inches in comparison to S23+'s 6.6-inches. The S25+ has the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor which is the fastest chipset the S series offers, with the S23+ offering the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The S25+ also comes with a larger 12GB RAM and 4,900 mAh battery size. In comparison, the S23+ has an 8GB RAM and a 4,700 mAh battery. When your battery does run out, you can use a 45W charger on either device with Super Fast Charging 2.0. While both devices offer Galaxy AI technology, the S25+ has more advanced features available with third-party support.

Choose the S25+ if you want newer features, including a faster processor and a bigger battery life. The S23+ is still a good option, offering a range of features alongside a very similar camera. Also, the S23+ will be much cheaper which is something to consider if you have a certain budget in mind.
