The Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24 Ultra are part of Samsung's January 2024 release. The S24 Ultra has the highest specifications of any S24 series phone and choosing the highest spec phone comes with a lot of benefits. For example, the S24 Ultra has a more powerful battery compared to S24 (5,000 mAh versus 4,000 mAh) and a more powerful camera: the S24 Ultra's wide angle rear camera boasts 200MP and 100x Digital Zoom. This outperforms the S24's wide angle rear camera with up to 50MP and 30x Digital Zoom. Additionally, the display of the S24 Ultra is 0.6 inches bigger than the S24 and the Ultra comes with the option of a whopping 1TB of storage.
However, bigger doesn't always mean better. As a result of its bigger size and additional features, the weight difference between the two models is notable: S24 Ultra is 65 grams heavier than S24, which means it'll be trickier to hold for long periods of time. Also, the S24 is likely to be less expensive than S24 Ultra. To summarise, if budget is a factor in your phone choice, the Samsung Galaxy S24 could be a great option.
