Who's eligible for Lifetime Service Promise?

Any customer who bought a phone on Vodafone EVO from 26 July 2023 onwards is eligible for Lifetime Service Promise. This includes all refurbished phones.

The latest Samsung phones are the Samsung Galaxy A37, and Samsung Galaxy A57 – they were made available on 26 March 2026.

The Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S26+ and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra were released on 11 March 2026.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 were released on 25 July 2025.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge became available to buy on 30 May 2025.

The Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra were released on 7 February 2025.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+ and S26 were all released on 11 March 2026. Pre-orders for the three smartphones commenced on 25 February 2026. All three devices come with valuable enhancements compared to previous Galaxy models, including an immersive AI display, Android 16, even more advanced processors and AI features across Galaxy AI, Google Gemini and more.

The Galaxy S26 has a bigger and brighter, 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It features Samsung’s latest 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset, optimised for heavy gaming and AI workflows. The battery also received an upgrade from 4,000 to 4,300mAh compared to the Samsung Galaxy S25 to ensure smooth gaming and streaming for hours, with no need to recharge. The recommended charger depends on your Samsung smartphone and its supported charging speed. Samsung currently uses four wattage levels:

IP rating (Ingress Protection) is a measurement of how well your phone copes with dust and water.

Samsung Galaxy S Series and Galaxy Note Series phones are designed to be water resistant with an IP (Ingress Protection) rating of IP68 – they’re water-resistant up to a maximum depth of 1.5 metres in freshwater for up to 30 minutes.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Series phones have an IPX8 rating – this means you can unfold the phones freely, even when caught in the rain*. However, it doesn’t mean that they’re dust-resistant.

Some Samsung Galaxy A Series phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G and the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G, have an IP67 rating for water resistance, meaning they can withstand up to 1.5 metres in freshwater for up to 30 minutes.

Always check the manufacturer description for the IP rating for your specific device.

IP67: This rating is based on test conditions of submersion in up to 1 metre of freshwater for up to 30 minutes – which differs to the 1.5 metre freshwater depth testing of IP68-rated devices. Samsung advises to rinse off any water residue or dry your device if it gets wet. Samsung devices are not advised for beach or pool use and may not be water resistant if submerged in soapy water.

IP68 and IPX8: These devices can be submerged to a depth of 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes. This is based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. Samsung advise IP68 and IPX8 devices are not for beach or pool use.
