The Galaxy S9 was the flagship release for Samsung in 2018, and improved on its predecessor in a number of ways. It featured a powerful new chip set, advanced iris, fingerprint and face-scanning technology, and Samsung’s characteristically gorgeous edge-to-edge Super AMOLED screen.
Innovating yet further in screen technology, Samsung have introduced the Infinity-O Display with the Galaxy S10e – doing away with the bezels and pushing the FullHD+ screen to the edges of the phone by hiding the front camera behind a pinhole notch. The S10e’s camera is a significant upgrade too, with the S9’s 12 megapixel snapper giving way to a versatile 16+12-megapixel camera in the S10e.
The S10e also features an electrostatic in-screen fingerprint scanner, 128GB of internal memory, and 6GB of RAM, making it more powerful than the S9. So while the S9 remains a cracking phone, the phenomenal advances Samsung have made in just a year make the S10e a superior phone.
