Pay as you go Friend Referral Zone

IMPORTANT: Our refer a friend programme on Pay as you go will come to an end on 31 December 2021. To make sure you don't miss out on any last rewards, anyone you've referred must purchase their Big Value Bundle by 31 December 2021 in order for you to receive a £5 Amazon Gift Card.

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. These terms and conditions govern the Promotion.

The Promotion:


  1. Vodafone Pay as you go customers in the UK aged 16 and over can participate in the Pay as you go Refer a Friend Promotion.
  1. The Promotion is: refer a friend to Vodafone and Vodafone will give you and your friend a £5 Amazon Gift Card each once the referral has been validated.

To become a referrer ("Referrer/s"), you must register on the Friend Referral Zone form.

Once registered, you'll receive a link which can be shared with friends and family ("Friend/s") who aren't Vodafone customers and who are happy to be referred by you.

  1. Friends must use the referral link that you share with them to make a qualifying purchase. Please see below for the definition of "qualifying purchase".
  1. Once the friend has made a qualifying purchase, a confirmation will be emailed to both the referrer and the friend.
  1. Once the friend passes the validation process after making a qualifying purchase, an email will be sent to both the referrer and the friend containing the reward.
  1. For every friend you refer (who buys a Pay as you go Bundle and activates the SIM), you and the friend will each receive a £5 Amazon Gift Certificate within 14 days of your friend activating their SIM.
  1. Third party terms and conditions may apply to any Amazon Gift Card(s) received by the referrer and their friend(s), for more information on this, please visit the Amazon website.
  1. In the event of fraud, repeated referral (recommending the same friend more than once), abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of the promotion, Vodafone reserves the right to end or suspend the promotion; and/or amend these terms and conditions.
  1. Users' personal data will be collected, stored and processed for the purposes of administering and assessing the Promotion. Vodafone will comply with all requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018. For more information on how Vodafone processes personal data, please see our privacy policy.

Qualifying Purchases


  1. A "qualifying purchase" is the purchase of a new SIM card containing a Pay as you go Bundle worth £10 or more.
  1. The Promotion isn't valid if redeemed in store, over the telephone, through Live Chat or from third party sellers such as Carphone Warehouse.
  1. The validation process requires the referred friend to purchase and activate a Pay as you go Bundle. Vodafone reserves the right to verify the eligibility of users.
  1. The Promotion excludes: Pay Monthly Plans, Pay as you go Bundles not worth £10 or more, upgrades, VOXI, Vodafone Basics plans and affiliate offers (comparison sites for example). No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted.

The Vodafone Refer a Friend promotion is being promoted by Vodafone having its registered office at Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 2FN England (the 'Company').
