Compare Samsung Galaxy S23 vs Samsung Galaxy S25
Which one is best for you?
The Samsung Galaxy S23 and S25 were released two years apart. Whilst the devices have different features, they still share the same camera system. Both include a 12MP rear camera for selfies, a 12MP Ultra Wide lens, a 50MP Wide lens, and one 10MP Telephoto lens - so whichever you choose, you'll have great pictures and videos to share. Certain Galaxy AI features are also available on both devices - with S25 offering the latest in Galaxy AI technology.
Differences between the two devices include the S25's slightly larger 6.2-inch screen size, which is 0.1-inch larger than the S23. Similarly, the S25 offers a slightly larger battery life at 4,000 mAh in comparison to S23's 3,900 mAh. The S25 has 12GB of RAM for faster multitasking, which pairs well with its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor - the fastest in an S series phone. In comparison, the S23 has a smaller 8GB RAM and an older Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Both devices offer the same storage options at 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, but offer different colours to choose from. The S25 colours include Navy, Icyblue, Mint, and Silver Shadow, while the S23 colours are Lavender, Cream, Green, and Phantom Black.
If you want the faster and more up-to-date device, choose the Galaxy S25. However, if you're on a budget, the S23 is a great choice and benefits from the same camera as the S25.
