Compare Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Which one is best for you?

Launched two years apart, the S23 Ultra and S25 Ultra are the most advanced devices within their releases. Similarities include: Galaxy AI features onboard, a 5,000 mAh battery for a longer battery life, and a 1TB storage option - perfect if you download a lot of videos or games. They both have S pen support, so you can write and draw on the devices.

In comparison to the S23 Ultra, the S25 Ultra has an improved Snapdragon 8 Elite processor - the fastest in the S series - in contrast to S23 Ultra's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The S25 Ultra also has a much-improved Ultra Wide lens at 50MP and a 50MP Telephoto lens, in comparison to S23 Ultra's 12MP Ultra Wide lens and 10MP Telephoto lens. However, they share the same 200MP Wide lens and a secondary 10MP Telephoto lens. The S25 Ultra comes with 12GB RAM, while the S23 Ultra offers both 8GB and 12GB options. While not a deal-breaker, the S25 Ultra has a slightly larger screen at 6.9-inches, 0.1 inches bigger than the S23 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is a great choice if you want a faster processor, improved camera, and guaranteed 12GB RAM onboard. As the S23 Ultra is an older release, it may be harder to find the 12GB RAM option in stock. However, the S23 Ultra will be a more affordable device.
