LTE (Long Term Evolution)

What is LTE?

LTE stands for Long Term Evolution, and it’s a wireless broadband communication for mobile devices and data terminals. Often referred to as 4G, it delivers fast internet speeds and more bandwidth then 2G and 3G networks. We sell LTE phones and LTE laptops, which connect to 4G networks. You can also check out our latest Samsung Galaxy LTE laptop deals

How can I connect to LTE networks?

You can connect to 4G LTE networks in the same way you connect to other mobile networks - all you need is a device that’s configured to work with it and 4G signal.

How long will LTE be available for?

4G LTE will be around for the foreseeable future, as there will be a period of time when 4G and 5G will overlap. 5G will not make LTE obsolete anytime soon.

What are the benefits of using LTE?

  • LTE connectivity is almost universally available for businesses and consumers

  • It provides continuity when other networks such as 2G are switched off

  • It’s beneficial for regions where 5G is not available yet

  • It offers high, stable speeds with low latency and fast data download speeds
