Infinity-O Display
What are Infinity-O Displays?
Infinity-O Displays are a phone screen which minimises bezel by creating an O-shaped cut-out in the display’s upper corner for the front camera. Previously, Samsung phones’ front cameras were in the middle of the top part of the display - Infinity-O Displays increase the screen-to-body ratio of the device without a significant increase in dimensions, so the phone’s front camera isn’t blocked and picture quality isn’t reduced. The accurate pixel allocation around the cut-out means that movies, games and browsing are still an immersive experience.
The technology of the Infinity-O Display is like that of the Infinity Flex Display; both displays have minimal bezel and are focussed on creating a captivating screen for the user. Whereas the Infinity-U display simply refers to the U-shaped notch where the front camera sits on the screen and is typically seen in Samsung’s more affordable phones.
